Beautiful antique, four-volume botany book set from an encyclopedic series for the practical naturalist. Copiously illustrated, each book in this four-volume set by A. Guillaumin includes an atlas of 64 coloured plates after the watercolours of J.Eudes and numerous in-text figures, illustrations, and portraits. The first volume covers spring flowers, while each of the following three volumes focuses on summer flowers.
CONDITION: Very good condition, all volumes collated complete, with some volumes loose and one cracked, covers with some wear, corners bumped, some page tears.
