- Style: Austrian Tarock (21 Trumps + Fool, with 4 suits of 8 cards)
- Numerals: Arabic
- Indicator Cards: Jack of Clubs with makers brand on shield; "Ferd. Piatnik/ No Wien 56/Kaisersfrasse Eck. d. Kandlgs. brand mark; Niederlage/ Stadt /Petersplatz N.6."; "Industrie und Gluck" on Trump II.
- Tax-Stamp: Ace of Hearts, Austrian stamp in use between 1877-1881, "The text is 'K.K.KARTENSTEMPEL'. The stamp number is at the bottom"(Enderbrock 2019).
- Borders: heavy inner black border with inner dash and lighter outside border
- Reverses: cream paper versos with intricate pattern of blue dots and Cs
- Paper: pasteboard cardstock
- Corners: square
CONDITION: Good condition, 54 of 54 cards complete; deck is slightly bowed with darkening & soiling, some minor stains (particularly the Ace of hearts), occasional signs of patina and surface wear, as well as corner & edge wear (see photographs).
