DESCRIPTION:
After the occultist, Etteilla's designs, the Grand Etteilla by Grimaud is considered a Type I style. Etteilla was the pseudonym of Jean-Baptiste Alliette. His designs are considered to be one of the first tarots created specifically for cartomancy.

CONDITION: Good condition, cards show a few signs of wear from use, Ace of Wands having a folded crease and several other cards (as pictured) with patina or very minor surface damages, otherwise all in excellent condition.. Box in good condition, paper applique well preserved, having a few minor stains and a slight crease, top panel of outer sleeve detached, with wear & surface scuffing of corners and edges.
