DESCRIPTION:
After the occultist, Etteilla's designs, the Grand Etteilla by Grimaud is considered a Type I style. Etteilla was the pseudonym of Jean-Baptiste Alliette. His designs are considered to be one of the first tarots created specifically for cartomancy.

CONDITION: Good condition. Cards are overall in very good condition, with no signs of wear from use. Box in good condition, paper applique very well preserved, top panel of outer sleeve & bottom panel of inner sleeve missing from two-part telescopic box, with minor signs of wear & scuffing of edges.
