· Cards: "GATTEAUX" in very small print & "ADMINIST. DES CONTRIB. INDIR. 1816" on the Jack of Clubs shield; oak wreath on Ace of Clubs; names on all of the court cards.
· Colours: red, gold, blue, light blue, and black
· Borders: single black-line
· Reverses: yellow
· Paper: paste-board cardstock, painted stencil
· Corners: square
Condition: very good condition; cards are well-preserved, with no major damages, however with signs of soiling and stains on some versos from use, as well as minor stains and patina on recto of some cards; 8 of Diamonds with a puncture hole (see photographs for further details).
