First printed in 1912, this is an early edition without date. 8vo. pp.261; large print; illustrated by Willy Pogány, with numerous black and white in-text illustrations, including chapter title decoration, full-page illustrations, as well as head and tail pieces and seven coloured plates hors-texte; bound in green cloth with gilt lettering and intricate gold stamped illustrative cover and spine, gilt pages at top edge, decorated illustrated endpapers. Very good condition, complete, with some spine and edge wear and foxing throughout.
