DESCRIPTION:
After the occultist, Etteilla's designs, the Grand Etteilla by Grimaud is considered a Type I style. Etteilla was the pseudonym of Jean-Baptiste Alliette. His designs are considered to be one of the first tarots created specifically for cartomancy.

CONDITION: Good condition. Cards are overall in good condition, with some signs of light staining, soiling and edge wear from use, as well as notations in pencil. Box in good condition, with paper appliqué and top panel missing from outer sleeve of two-part telescopic box.
